MB – San Diego, July 4, 2012 – In a sudden and simultaneous burst from 4 barges spaced around San Diego harbor from Point Loma to Imperial Beach, all of the fireworks that were slated to make up a seventeen minute show exploded in a tower of flame, sparks and smoke for a few seconds Wednesday night.
It was rumored that Marco Gonzalez, who recently dropped his law suit to block the display, had planted agents among the fireworks crew to sabotage the show. Gonzalez, city officials and employees of the fireworks company were not reached for comment.
